Lots of big changes here! The twins came home from the NICU this month and everything's been turned topsy-turvy at our house. (In a good way!)

I've still been reading (some), but don't think I can pull together any intelligent thoughts about books yet. My most recent reads (other than baby books) have been the first two of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. I'm very curious about how they were made into movies, but haven't peeked at either the Swedish or US version of the movies.
So, as I'm getting back into the world, what are the best new fiction recommendations you all have?
BABIES!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut really, how's the Prairie Dog?
They are beautiful and they look so strong and healthy! I'm so glad they're finally home with you.
ReplyDeleteI have not read the books yet, but I did see the first two movies...the Swedish versions. The first one was really good. The second one was good, but not as good as the first. I don't think the US version has been released yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm planning on reading at least the first book this year.
Have a great weekend! Enjoy those babies. =O)
Congratulations and welcome home!
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you saw (you might have other things to do) that this morning The Bloggess recommended the book "Let's Panic About Babies." Sounds like just the kind of thing you could use right now.

They are gorgeous! We're gonna have to schedule a Janie photo visit! xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteOkay. i'm reading "The Invisible Bridge".
ReplyDeleteI'm mesmerized.
Don't know The Invisible Bridge -- need to check it out!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading sequels right now -- the City of Fallen Angels (4th in the series by Clarissa Clare) and The Lost Hero (6th-- I think -- in the Percy Jackson stories). Starting to read to the boys during their play time, which lets me get some reading time during the day!
When my kids were babies I dove back into children's and YA literature to see what was new and what to recommend as they got older. If you haven't read Chabon's Summerland and Mieville's UnLunDun, those are two good ones.
